We believe Church is not simply an event you attend but a community of people living out the life of Christ, for his cause, in our homes, our workplaces, in the community, and everywhere people gather; such as clubs, sporting venues, and our beaches.
We are community and part of the community.
We gather on Sundays and Thursdays at our Herarde Street Church but also at Nelligen, Malua Bay, Nursing
homes and on Wednesday evening for our Hope Fellowship. For more info check out ‘I am new’.
Whether you're single, a couple, have kids, of any ethnic group, down on your luck, you are welcome.
We are blessed to have a committed group of Aboriginal members from our local community as part of us. People from our Hope community contribute and enrich our lives every day.

Coronavirus
Our Church now has NSW COVID Safe Check-in
- When you arrive at your church, scan the QR code with your phone. QR codes are on the main door, back door and office doors and also available in the foyer. QR Codes are also on the Hall door - you do not need to register to enter the hall if you are already registered on site for church.
- Members who have the Service NSW app will be taken to the app.
Members who don't have the Service NSW app installed can either:
- download the Service NSW app, create an account and check-in, (this app remembers your details so you only need to fill it in once); or
- check-in using the Service NSW online Web form. It opens automatically on the customer's phone. (this requires you to complete name and phone details each time you enter.)
With either way you can log additional dependants against your contact details.
Downloading the app is relatively simple and takes a couple of minutes to register.
- A welcomer should view the members phoneto make sure the check-in was successful.
4. If the member doesn't have a mobile phoneor one that can support the app, they will be logged in to the tick sheets we are currently using and the details transcribed to a digital form later.).
